來自美國奧克拉荷馬州，從年少時期就膩在一起的好哥倆Tyson Ritter與Nick Wheeler，在1999年為了搖滾樂的夢想，離開家鄉小鎮，到紐約大城市一展身手，帶著裝滿他倆創作的DEMO作品以及一千塊美金，就這樣鼓起勇氣展開音樂旅程。接著加入吉他手Mike Kennerty與鼓手Chris Gaylor，在2002年於獨立廠牌發行單曲"Swing Swing"，獲得全美搖滾榜Top26，同名專輯也進入獨立專輯榜第9名，引起極大迴響後，立刻被DreamWorks音樂廠牌招攬旗下，2003年重新再發行，專輯則蹦上熱門潛力榜Top8與流行榜No.25，搭配全美青春賣座電影「American Pie The Wedding/美國派3：美國昏禮」再一波曝光宣傳，搶下現代搖滾榜第8名，多半寫出與前女友間發生的情事兩三件，銷售直逼百萬佳績，促使The All-American Rejects再次進錄音室準備全新作品呈現！
花了10個月閉關撰寫、7個禮拜錄音，終於帶出第二張專輯【Move Along】，甫於美國發行，以首週近10萬張超越第一張專輯的亮眼成績，空降流行專輯榜Top6，製作與混音大臣，分別邀請到搖滾/流行界赫赫有名的Howard Benson(Hoobastank、P.O.D、My Chemical Romance)及Chris Lord-Alge(Madonna、Prince、Roxette)主控。首支仍然搖擺生鮮的強勢單曲"Dirty Little Secret"，仍包裹在順暢搖滾聲線中，飆出屬於年輕的快意力道；接著帶出些許EMO聲音表情的"Stab My Back"，無論是主音演出或是搭配合聲的堆疊，很快激起全身不安的搖滾細胞；直達同名單曲"Move Along"，只有暢快過癮可以形容此曲釋放出的搖滾高能量；魅力十足的動聽音階層層砌築出"Change Your Mind"、"Night Drive"等一氣呵成之龐克搖滾勁作；舒緩動人的慢板小品"Straitjacket Feeling"與加入弦樂潤飾之"Can’t Take It"，都是The All-American Rejects越近成熟穩健的推薦佳品！
